Nexus 6P Sync and Paring Issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have just switched from iPhone 5 to Nexus 6P, which my Blaze keeps NOT synced even when I turned on "all-day syncing"; when I start sync manually, the app keeps telling me "no tracker found" and the device in dash board turn into black; so I tried to re-pair my Blaze using "replace my tracker" option, the set-up page keeps asking "is your tracker truned on?" when it is actually charging!

I've now updated Blaze firmware to the latest and uninstalled Fitbit app, upgrade to the latest Android and installed app again, now the app still cannot find my Blaze...

Has anyone encountered these issues?

Blaze sync to iPhone5 has never been this HARD...

I have a 6P too and I haven't had any problems. Is your iPhone still around and powered on, maybe? If it is, try unpairing the fitbit from it. Also, try restarting your fitbit.

Hi there @meresydotes @ChloeZ, good to see you guys in the Community! 🙂

@ChloeZ, I can also recommend restarting your tracker. It's always safe to do it when facing syncing problems. For that, just make sure you're pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds and this will make your tracker to reboot and after that try it out and see if this makes any difference.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks you guys for the suggestion. Turns out I've made a stuppid mistake, the old iPhone 5's bluetooth is still on... LOL

Is there anyway that I can make iPhone "forget this device"?

Many thanks!

Go into your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and tell it to forget the Blaze, you will also want to turn off all day sync on the the iphone, this idols because a sync through the iPhone will pair the Blaze up again.

@ChloeZ, Just to add to what @Rich_Laue said, once you go into the bluetooth settings on your iPhone, locate the Fitbit Blaze and you will see an "i" inside a circle which you can tap on and this will give you the option to "Forget Device". After that, you should be good to go.
