No Swing Arms

Ok,

HELP HELP HELP.

I've done AT LEAST 20-30 250 step tests.  Walking normally with arm swinging I am CONSISTENTLY 36% off of my steps.

I tried, today, walking with a stiff arm across my chest.  249 steps counted for 250 taken.

WOW.  It's obvious the software is stable and measures consistently.  But why the heck can't I swing my arms? I've tried dominant/non-dominant. Stride shouldn't matter, but adjusted that as well.

Any thoughts. This, to me, is sort of counterintuitive and also counterintuitive to what others perceive they've found themselves.

This has been an issue since April when the firware was updated. Prior to that you could walk normally and it would count steps. Very disappointing that the most recent update didn't fix the isuue.

Yes, mine is still on 301.7. When the September update was released, I waited to dig my Blaze out of the junk drawer until I read the feedback reguarding step accuracy. After reading countless posts by users saying the issue still hasn't been addressed, I see no reason to charge it up and update it. My only reason to do so would be to sell it.

I've already sold all my accessories. Now Im just waiting, hoping, FitBit will eventually address the step count issue. There's no way I'm selling it to someone just to make it their problem. Which would eventually be my problem agian because I'd have to refund the sale.

I just walk with a natural arm swing, it counts mine.. Usually around 990-996 for a 1000 step test.
