Why won't my brand new blaze track my active minutes automatically? I have cycled today twice and been to a body pump class and it says I've done no activity today!! Annoyed!!

A warm welcome to the Community @Helz1983. If your Blaze is not registering active minutes, I recommend restarting your tracker and test it. Keep in mind that the active minutes depends on the activity you are doing and how constant you are with it. For more information you can take a look at our What are active minutes? article.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I have done a restart and it's still not working, it's not registering my heart rate? I don't know what to do. Yesterday I cycled twice and did a fitness class so would have shown over an hour of activeness

Thanks

@Helz1983Welcome.. This link may help explain the Active Minutes because it is very strict on a minimum of 10 minutes at a minimum of 3 times your sleeping/BMR calories. Also this image may help you with the colours of your graphs when you examine you Activity Log on the PC

Below that shows my activity for 22.5 hours today including sleep and I only earned 48 active minutes. with 11,000 steps.. It was some renovation at home, domestics, shopping and walking in carparks etc..  It is a composite graph I built using the custom Activity for the HR..

With the Blaze, ensure your HR pulse lights are working..mine are set to auto and I wear the Blaze 24/7 and get 5 days between charges..

The Red lightly active down to sedentary.

The Yellow is your Active Minutes... the minimum is 3 x BMR and the high is less than 6 x BMR..

The Green is Very Active Minutes which is anything 6 and over  x BMR

@Helz1983Helen.... Are the Green lights pulsing under the Blaze..If not you can swipe through the Blaze screen to Settings, tap that screen and check the Heart Rate setting. . Do this by holding in the LH single button, release then swipe through the screens.

On your iPhone Fitbit Dashboard...... When you tap the RHR tile does it show any recorded HR.?

@Helz1983 do you see any recorded activity in your activity log?

Your logs ahould show recorded activity like a bike ride, wqlk, run, etc. However as explained above these might not be considered actice minutes.

A non-generic workout might not get autorecognized if the heart rate isn't working correctly.

For heartrate troubleshooting see this doc,  There also is a guide to wearing the tracker in the heart rate FAQ.
