Why is my Blaze counting steps and heartbeats when I'm not wearing it? It's brand new just bought and charged it.

Is there a fan going on in the room? Open window with wind? These will cause false steps

Welcome to the Forums @Maltesecross224 and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.

Have you tried the restart procedure? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your Blaze. After this process, please test your Blaze.

Thanks for the information @Maltesecross224.

To restart your tracker you just need to do the following:

  1. Press and hold the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Let me know if this procedure works. Woman Happy

Thanks.  I think it's working as it's supposed to.  I'm learning more about how it works.
