My Fitbit Blaze strangely stopped taking accurate HR measurements after charging and updating after a year and four months. No matter how I wear it, the heart rate measurement is way above what my pulse oximeter shows. For instance FitBit will tell me my HR is 138 when it's 76. It's constantly sky high and I have not had sleep stages since it stopped working.

FitBit tried to tell me that "it's not a medical device". Well I've been wearing it for over a year and it's been very accurate and all of a sudden it's not. Don't try to tell me this is normal. If 60pbm OVER your HR is normal accuracy for a fit bit why even have a HR monitor at all?

After various trouble shooting, Fit Bit is offering me 25% discount if I buy a NEW tracker since I am just outside the one year warranty. Why would I want to pay all that money for another tracker that's going to break on me again in less than 2 years?

It's really disappointing because I was a loyal fit bit customer and loved my FitBit. I turned so many friends and family on to buying one. I get that FitBit cannot offer an indefinite warranty, but they are not even interested in WHY the FitBit malfunctioning or if it just needs a new sensor or what. You'd think they want to get the broke tracker and research to improve their products being that so many people are having problems. For a tracker to be junk this soon after purchase is really surprising and FitBit seems to not care at all or is just being cheap!

Have you tried a restart or a complete shutdown.

Also cleaned the sensors .
