No sleep log

I took a picture but can't seem to include it here in the message. I will try to explain.

Occasionally my fit bit does not log my sleep. Most nights it does. When I manually enter the sleeptime I still don't get a graph.   I get a thick blue area that says sleep. With an occasional redline of awake or restless.

Can anyone tell me why this happens? What was I wearing the fit bit in properly?

Do you have any details for us?

How long where you asleep?

Where you in a bed, not sleeping in a car, train, plane, etc?

How soon after waking up did you sleep?

How long has it been sonce you woke up?

Have you synced again?

I have exactly the same problem.  Sometimes it tracks sleep stages with a graph, sometimes it doesn't.  When it doesn't and I just go in and log my hours, it spits back a basic color block of times awake/asleep/"restless" (pretty useless).

To answer your questions:

How long where you asleep?-- normal times

Where you in a bed, not sleeping in a car, train, plane, etc?-- in bed

How soon after waking up did you sleep?-- 16-20 hrs (sometimes more, I have an irregular schedule)

How long has it been sonce you woke up?-- I usually check within an hour of waking

Have you synced again?-- I make sure it's synced before I check.

This is frustrating, since sleep tracking is the reason I got a blaze.

I am also having the same issue. I have had the Blaze since September 2016 and all of a sudden, about three weeks ago it started to miss tracking my sleep. Most nights since this started three weeks ago, I have no sleep recorded. What is going on?

How long where you asleep? At least 5 hours

Where you in a bed, not sleeping in a car, train, plane, etc? Yes, in bed.

How soon after waking up did you sleep? 16 hours or so

How long has it been since you woke up? Five hours

Have you synced again? Yes, several times.

Hi all,

I have the same issue and it's been happening for 4 weeks or more. I contacted fitbit help with little real useful help....check latest app, firmware, worn correct, how long asleep etc with no joy.

Personally I'm unhappy it's random but to.me the item is faulty but now it's over 1yr old. I thought I cracked it the other night as it tracked sleep correctly when I cleared email, txt messages. Last night I went through same routine but it didn't track.

Fitbit sort this out over the last 6 days it's tracked sleep correctly once....
