No sync or re program

My blaze battery completely died, it is not fully charged and my iPhone is updated with the newest iOS (boo thumbs down) anyways my blaze now has the wrong date and time, when I tried to sync it with my phone it kept saying it was syncing but nothing was happening! I tried it all day at work today. I read somewhere that removing the device and re adding it helps. Well.... I've removed it and when it asks me to enter the code shown in the Fitbit. I do that and nothing happens. Please help!!!!
