Not able to complete initial firmware upate

Hi there,

Got my blaze yesterday , looks good, feels good, synced with my android phone (HTC  One M8) ok, but shows I need to update firmware - have turned blutooth on and off, reset the app, reset the fitbit, no good. The red ! keeps coming up - sometimes it will start with a progress bar showing on the phone and fit bit but then it stops. I haven't been able to get past the fitbit set up screen  on the fitbit which is a bit frustrating.

I've also tried attaching it to my pc laptop but can't see how to update it this way - any suggestions?

Welcome to the Community @Beldaz78 and @Odyssey13 thanks for stopping by and the instructions provided.

Could you please provide me with a photo of your tracker's display? In the meantime, you can restart your Blaze and as mentioned follow the update procedure from a computer.

Hope to hear from you soon. Woman Happy

Thanks for the replies. I managed to update via a friend's iPhone just fine. I am having difficulties syncing with my HTC. It will do it but hit and miss. Seems the HTC one m8 should be more compatible, it links fine with other Bluetooth devices in the house.
