No calls or text receiving after the Fitbit app update recently. What is happening with the Fitbit blaze. 2018 Christmas gift not even 1 year gone

I am getting third party messages but not my main text messages.   Its very frustrating.  I have reinstalled..tried different ideas from other members.  Wasted a lot of time on this.

Weird thing to mention....if I send a video to someone using messages, I do get the notification on the Blaze.....very strange.

I had problems receiving messages also and the phone was slow with call notifications coming in much later than the call.

Solution for me was to make sure Bluetooth Classic was turned off on the Blaze and it was only paired to the phone through normal Bluetooth, then most importantly turn off message notifications and enable them through App notifications.
