Not recieving notifications on my fitbit

I have upgraded my phone yesterday from a iPhone to a Samsung s8 and it will not let my phone sync with my fitbit. 

I have tried reset and adding it as a new device and it's asked me to put my pin number in. It will update it once then won't work again. So I am not receiving any messages or call on my fitbit. 

I really need some help as I only had my fitbit for Christmas. The reason I went for fitbit as well was because I was coming away from an iPhone other wise I would of had an apple one. 

Please help

You have to make sure you are allowing notifications on the phone and on the app, once in the app you can select what notifications you want.
