Not sync. Battery on watch full but in app empty

My watch was working fine until yesterday afternoon .discovered not syncing .  Battery was showing low so I recharged it .still not able to synch . Checked updates, Bluetooth on, switched phone on and off . Still not able to synch to phone . Watch showing steps , date etc as normal . Any thoughts please?

The app only knows the battery level as it was when it last synced so when you get it syncing again that should sort itself out.

Thank you for your tips . I have restarted the watch and it appears to be connected to the phone now by Bluetooth. However it is showing no data yet

That's strange. If data is not showing in the app after a sync then I'm not sure what to suggest. If nobody else posts with a suggestion then perhaps customer support is your best option. They may be able to see what's happening from the server side.

I’ve turned the watch in and off a few times but still no joy . Wonder if I should delete the app and reinstall ? But would that lose all my data ?Thank you anyway for your suggestions .

Deleting the app is safe as all the previously synced data is held on the fitbit servers rather than in the app.
