Not tracking steps or distance correctly?

So I'm using it on the treadmill and I noticed compared to my fitbit One the blaze is way off on the steps.  I;m right handed and wear it on my left and have it set for non dominant hand.  So I did an hours on the treadmill and it's over 3000 steps off.  I counted my steps for a minutes and it's 146 the fitbit only registers 105 steps so for evey 10 minutes I'm off almost 450-500 steps then my normal pace for for an hours it's off 3000 steps.  The distance I did on the treadmill was 4.6 miles and on the fitbit it shows 3.1 miles.  I even used the treadmill setting.

I regret getting this item and will probably send it back and just use the one.  The only issues is I got it through my works get active program and got it for $136.  If I send it back I want my reward back and I want to use it for the aria scale which was $63.  Buyer beware!

Are you holding on to the hand rail?

This may prevent the Fitbit from seeing arm motions that look as if your running.

My Blaze is not accurately tracking my steps.  My Flex tracked very well, but the Blaze shows 1 step for every 5-6 I take.  I am wearing it on my non-dominant arm and have it set to non-dominant.  Any suggestions?
