The fitbit app on my phone is displaying a notification that 'connected gps is running'.
It's sat on my desk and started this an hour ago, but as far as I'm aware there is no connected gps! I've not even tried to set anything, but I can't get rid of the notification.
I've done a force stop on the app, and I've restarted my phone.
Any ideas?

I had the same issue. Pixel 2 and only had the option to minimize the notification. I eventually long pressed the notification and turned "uncategorized" notifications off. Not the nicest of solutions, but at least I got rid of this 🙂

I did this and now I no longer receive notifications from my Fitbit in terms of text messages or calendar updates. I still receive step reminders and a notification for when I hit my steps goal. All of the settings in the Fitbit app say that it is still set up for notifications via SMS, but I'm not getting any more SMS updates.
Anyone have an idea how to turn it back on? I can't get back to this menu since I got there by long pressing an "Uncategorized" notification. Regular notification settings in the Android app have don't show me anything to do with Uncategorized.
