I have a new fitbit blaze. The notications were previously working but are no longer. I have a Samsung galaxy S8 with Bluetooth turned on, phone is visible. The device has been added to my account, notifications are on messaging app is WhatsApp, I have the widget enabled and have the always connected option, my status menu say notifications are running but I don't get anything on the fitbit.
When I look at my Bluetooth devices I can see two options, blaze and blaze (classic). Previously it was connected to blaze (classic) but I discovered this only controls music, which i can get to work. However, whenever I try to pair with blaze it just says it was rejected.
I have turned the fitbit on and off, I have turned the Bluetooth off on my phone , unpaired the blaze classic, removed the device from my account, logged out, uninstalled the app and restarted my phone. Reinstalled the app, turned Bluetooth on, logged in, added device synced fitbit (done this at least 15 times) AND IT'S STILL NOT CONNECTED.
I have also made sure fitbit as an app has the privileges of reading my notifications in my phone settings.
I am seriously loosing patience!

I don't seem to find any instructions in that link. It simply looks as if the "answer" is yes there is an issue but we don't have a solution....
The annoying thing is that it was working like 2 days ago, so they can't just say it's Samsungs fault. It did work with my phone!

I know this won't help, but lets face it, Fitbit is so slow on making their trackers work with new phones. I love my Blaze and everything is working great for over a year and a half, but my phone is a Galaxy S3. I had the same problems with setting up the Blaze when my Galaxy S3 was new. So now I just follow all the posts to see when the problems with the S8 are resolved and then I will get the new phone. I don't expect to see that in the near future however. I just bought my wife the S8 and she loves it but I will not invest until its totally compatibility with the Blaze. Maybe their slowness is why their stock price is $13.70 below the Initial Public Offering (IPO) price.

I received a system update for my Galaxy S8 about a week ago. It has fixed the issues I was having with notifications on the Fitbit Blaze. It also fixed the battery drain issues on the Fitbit blaze (battery only lasted about 36-40 hours before this update).
With the new S8 system update I started receiving notifications and my battery now lasts as long as it did with my older phone (a Microsoft Lumia 950)--somewhere around 4-5 days.
Here's the version information from my phone's about screen:
Kernel version
4.4.16-12523989
Fri Nov 10 19:10:03 KST 2017
Build number
NRD90M.G950USQU2BQK5
If you have a Galaxy S8 or S8+ and a Fitbit Blaze, I'd suggest you make sure you have the latest Samsung system update.

Thanks for your suggestion, my phone updated last week too, although it appears to be on the same version as you, I have just checked for an update again and it says I have the latest version.
Maybe they are rolling it out and when I get that version it will work.
