Notification problem with Android device?

Hello,
I have a fitbit blaze. I have connected it to my xiomi mi4 phone. It gets sync with the phone but the blaze does not show any notification of call or SMS when I receive a call or SMS. My notification in the setting is on. I have upgraded my phone to the latest updated software but still the problem is not solved yet.
To check if it's a problem with the blaze so I connected it with my iPhone 5s. In that there is no such problem of notification. Whenever I receive a call or SMS I get the notification on the blaze.
So is it software or compatability problem of notification with android phone?

@Chinz Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Follow these troubleshooting steps for notifications. It should work properly. Also, you can try to log out from the app, reboot your phone, and log back in to your account.

Hello,

 

I have a galaxy S4 and I lost the notifications after the app be updated for the version 2.33 and I have the same issue with the version 2.34. The version 2.32 had working properly.
I followed the tips described in the "Fitbit Help" but without success.
Someone have any solution for this issue?

Hello @FbBpm a couple things to check: 

Does the Blaze show up as connected in your phones BT settings? 

Swipe down on the notification panel, do you see an entry saying Fitbit notifications running? 

Under the Fitbit app's notification settings, is the notification widget enabled? 

Go back one level, is always connected enabled. 

One more, the hamburger menu, 3 dots, on the top right of the notifacation settings has a test function. Did the test come through? 

Just a few things to check and try.

Hello @Rich_Laue,

I had already tried the suggested topics and all of them are working, except the test fuction.

I have tried other settings one of which was turn on the "Do Not Disturb" and after turn off the "Do Not Disturb" on the phone, after this, the notifications start work, I don't know if that was the problem, but now everything is working.

I'm glad to hear that the suggestions that @Rich_Laue provided helped to solve your problem. Sometimes as with any device, when some features fail to work, disabling and enabling them is a good call to make  them work again and it seems that was the case here.
