Old Badges on my Used FitBit

I recently bought a fitbit Blaze on Craigslist. When I set up my account there are already previously earned badged on there? My account lists the start date as Oct 13th but some of the badges are from August or September. Why did these transfer to my account? How can I delete them?

Is this your first tracker? I see you registered on the forums October 13, your Fitbit account could be earlier.
It doesn't really make sense, since :
Badges are not saved on the tracker but on the user's account.
Step data once synced to the account are then cleared from the tracker.
The tracker even if it has data on it, it only is able to save 30 days, so August is gone..
When setting up a tracker to your account the tracker should be reset. Several have reported, I also tested it, by removing the tracker from my account then attaching as a new device, in sync steps where lost.

Hi, Thanks for your response. I have never had a fitbit account before or a fitbit. This is my first one. On my personal accound page it says that my account started October 13th. That was when I signed up and was the first time I ever did anything with a fitbit. I included some screenshots of the badges it says I earned and when I earned them. i thought I reset it when I got it but maybe I did it incorrectly? As you can see, Ive had the fitbit for only two days so it would be impossible to have already earned all of these and some of them were earned early as August.

I would contact.fitbit.com and ask them to either reset your account or remove the badges.
