Hi,
I'm new to the Blaze and been having a few issues with sync, I had it set up perfect sync was happening all the time, and after doing a gps connected activity it would sync almost instantly (not having to open app) as my Strava notification would pop up to say a new activity was imported. I then rebooted my phone and had major issues, sync stopped working, I eventually got sync working again by re-installing the app, re-pairing etc ( I found seperating my phone and watch helped).
My problem now is that after I do a GPS connected activity it does not sync it straight away!! Is this server side, or my side? Also what frequency shoud my Blaze be syncing?
It's no a major issue as if I open the app it will then sync, but I would like it to do it quick on it's own.
TIA

I would leave syncing alone unless it's a major problem. Syncing depends on Internet traffic, and I'm guessing you're doing this from a cellphone. This means network congestion will play a factor. It once took an hour for my Blaze to sync with Fitbit, but it did. That I chalked it up to network congestion. Several other factors regarding syncing the watch with Fitbit and your dashboard come into play.
As for the GPS stuff, I'd leave that alone too. Eventually it will sync. Just have to have paitence.

So when syncing doesn't happen instantley like it used to after a conected GPS activity this is just down to fitbit server trafic?

I many times find the app syncs, even combed dilated me for an accomplishment, but the app dashboard takes a while to update.
Is it the server or the app. As for GPS and Sleep I find that the web dashboard sometimes also takes a while to update, this would point to server traffic.

It's neither. Network Congestion is a whole different animal. When I play GTA Online sometimes, doing missions or races, it takes at the max 5 minutes to start up, but this can take anywhere between 30 seconds-5 minutes. Perfect time to grab a beer, which I usually do. This is going through Xbox Live and/or Rockstar's servers. Open world, won't have that issue. After 5 minutes, however, it will kick you out of the lobby and drop you somewhere in the GTA World. This would indicate server traffic is congested.
When I play Diablo III or StarCraft II on the PC, I go through Blizzard's Servers, plus I have an indicator for Latency that's Green if it's good, Yellow if we're in a minor traffic jam, and red if it's bad.
Eventually, it will update. If you have the All Day Sync on, you might get one snuck in if your Bluetooth is on. Alot of people complain about it, but never take Network Congestion into account.
As for GPS and Sleep, more than likely.
