Old Fitbit blaze

My fitbit blaze stopped working (display gone) after 5-6 years of usage. I relished using it every day. Now that the product is not available, i would like to make a request in this forum. 

If anyone can help me with their old Fitbit blaze product which they are not using right now, i would be very very grateful 😊

Hello @Chandru1 and welcome to the Community.  The Blaze is a very reliable model and my husband still wears his.  But there are two reasons why you should think about a different model:

  • Rechargeable batteries degrade over time, even when sealed in original packaging and never used.  The Blaze was released in 2016.  There are posts in circa 2016 device forums (Charge 2, Alta, Alta HR) where users bought sealed boxes, but the battery was dead on arrival and would not charge.
  • There are posts in all of these circa 2016 device forums where users get a firmware update notice, but their devices won't update.

Sure many thanks for kind response. My fitbit blaze automatically overheated and the display went blank. It just happened yesterday 😭😭

 

Secondly I am interested in having an old fitbit blaze only for normal usage. I have always been a fan of old antique pieces and somehow nothing comes close to fitbit blaze.

I am sure in this forum there are people who have moved away from fitbit blaze to a newer version of the product perhaps they can definitely help me out. 😊😊

 

Secondly using an old obsolete product is also nature friendly, economical 🙂🙂🙂

You might consider trying Ebay (link below) or Amazon for a replacement.  I am actually still using mine because you are correct.  It really is that good and it actually syncs in conjunction with new models because it doesn't use the gallery feature.  Best of luck to you in getting a replacement.
