I am using a Blaze with sw version 17.8.402.1, phone is a Galaxy S7 with Android 7.
I recently installed Intunes Company Portal and Outlook for my corporate email. Intunes is MDM software to protect the corporate email/resources on my phone.
I cannot get my Fitbit app to list Outlook in the App Notifications so I can have email notification on my Blaze. Outlook is not on the list of apps at all. I don't know if Outlook is somehow sandboxed or hidden from the general Anrdoid 7 system or why it is not showing up on the Fitbit app.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there @Woz2000. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I can help you with this. I'm not quite an Outlook mail user but most apps get notifications on the Fitbit Blaze. Now, keep in mind that in order to enable notifications from a specific app, you first need to receive at least one notification from this app to your phone and after that, it should appear in the apps list.
If you've already received a notification and the app doesn't appear in the apps list, try force quitting the app, open it again and see if you're able to find it there after that. It should appear there and you should be able to enable it.
Hope this helps and if you need more help, let me know!

No the suggestions do not work.
I have been using the Intune MDM and Outlook for a week now. Many notifications have popped up on the phone from Outlook. I have rebooted the phone, the watch, manually synced, everything multiple times. No Outlook app in the Apps list for notification.

Greetings,
Can you be more "specific" regarding your response. Can you basically break it down to a 2nd grade level? :=)
I have both the Outlook app and Fitbit app on my Galaxy Note 8 but Outlook doesn't populate as a choice for notifications on my Charge 2.
Thanks in advance,
Necole

I'm having the same notification problem after getting the company portal app in my iPhone. I was just wondering if you fix the issue and, if so, what procedures you went through to get on track.
Thanks.

Yes there is a fix. Get rid of the company portal! But you'll probably not like this fix either.
I removed the company portal. Manually installed and set up Outlook. And now Outlook shows up and I can set the notification.
The problem? There is NO cancel/acknowledge feature with the calendar notification. After it goes off, it will continue to go off at random intervals (between 30 seconds to about a minute) until the time of the meeting. So lets say I have 9am meeting, notification set to 15 minutes prior... my watch will buzz with the notification at 8:45... then again 30 seconds later, and again and again and again until 9am. This 'bug' or crap behavior has been around for over 2 years and fitbit doesn't see the need to fix it.
You decide what is worse!!!! No notifications or constant unstoppable notifications. My first and last Fitbit!

Was there ever a resolution to this issue? I just got a Versa and am facing the same issue, it appears Fitbit doesn't know how to handle Outlook when it's managed through Intune's Company Portal?
Can someone from Fitbit chime in and let us know if this is a known issue with no planned resolution?
Just got the Versa, would hate to have to return it because they aren't supporting a very popular corporate email configuration.

I have an Android phone, so unfortunately not an option for me. It looks like I may have to explore the Android wearables, unless Fitbit is able to figure this out.
Thanks - Randy

I have the same problem. originally my phone was set up with Outlook outside of the company portal and I was able to get my notifications on a Fitbit. This week my company has implemented InTune company portal with a work profile an Android and now Outlook is missing from their notification application list. Fitbit if you're listening, what is your plan for Android work profile application notifications?

Just got the fitbit sense and I'm now realising I might have to return it. Thus is a deal breaker so if someone from fitbit can say this will be resolved shortly I'll be returning the device ASAP 😞

I've contacted Fitbit support. Someone from their "higher level support" is to get back to me in a day or two.
Considering the lack of solution here I'm holding my breath though.
If no solution can be provided I'll have to resurn the device 😞

Hi all, I've been having the same issue that outlook notifications would not work when my company moved to the secure work profile/company portal.
Having spent some time looking into this I worked out that it is an issue with the fitbit app but there is a workaround that I found in another post. Basically you need to install outlook on your personal profile in addition to the work profile. There is no need to set anything up on the personal profile but by installing it alone it then bridges the outlook versions so the app now shows within the fitbit app notifications list.
With the above I can now get work email and calendar notifications on my Charge 4.
