Over 9k calories burned already?

My calorie count on my fitbit has to be wrong. I just put my Blaze on and I notice it lighting up because it claims I have burned over 9,500 calories! I haven't even done much today and put it on less than an hour ago. HELP!!! I'm starting to regret buying this since it has happened almost every other day!

Welcome to the forums!

The calories burned are BMR calories. Your fitbit also calculates calories burned for your BMR. You burn calories just by being alive! Even Sleeping. Fitbit includes these burned calories in it's calorie calculations, so even if you did not wear the fitbit, you'll still burn these calories.
