It's great to see you around @SMagee, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. Have you tried to turn off your Blaze? If you haven't, I recommend turning it off by swiping to setting and tap shutdown. Also, could you please tell me which phone you have? In the meantime, you can check if you phone is listed in our list of compatible mobile devices.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

I'm having the same issue. Can you post the solution?

The pair setting is only designed to stay on long enough to pair the Classic to the phone, for music control on Android and windows. After it is paired you do not need the pair option turned on.

If you have an ios device, Bluetooth Classic is not used at all. If you are using an ios device, please do a setup using the replace function, this will remove the BT classic from being on the menu.

From all the different responses what I heard is that you only need the pairing if you're listening to music. Make sure the phone's bluetooth is on to receive text messages and call alerts. I wound up doing a live chat with the Fitbit and they walked me through all the steps. I would suggest contacting them via live chat. Good luck!

Welcome to the Community @SMagee! I appreciate your friendly input, I completely agree with you. When you want to use music control, you need to use the feature called "Bluetooth Classic" this will show in your phone's settings and you need pair it with your phone.

However, if you're just setting up your tracker; there's no need to do this procedure because your Blaze will sync through the Fitbit app and you just need the Bluetooth on but no need to pair it.

Hope this clarifies any doubt in this thread! Robot Happy

My wife is having the same problem.  She has the fitbit app loaded on 2 devices.  A iPhone 8 and a iPad mini 4.  Both are on the supported device list.  We have restarted the Alta fitbit.  Both devices have all-day-sync on.  But it seems that if she is sync'd with one device the other loses it bluetooth connection.  The error message is device not found.  It appears that you can not have both devices sync'd with the fitbit at the same time.  Is that true?

Of course @frank_nesta17 as with almost all Bluetooth devices. The Fitbit tracker can only connect to one device at a time.

When switching phones or tablet it may be necessary to turn the Bluetooth off on the one device.
