I took my Blaze off on Monday morning and left it sitting on a table and spent the next 2 days nowhere near the watch.
Today, I put it back on and synced it with my phone and am seeing all sorts of data logged for the 2 days I wasn't near it.
[edit: tried to add a picture but for some reason it isn't posting -- it's basically a chart with several hours worth of data]
Why is this happening? The data it captured isn't even similar to my normal average resting heart rate at the moment (I'm currently pregnant so the lowest my heart rate ever gets is around 62-64bpm when I'm sleeping). Is my Fitbit haunted or something?

One possiblity of which I am aware:
It has also been reported that certain frequencies emitted by light waves from neon lights may cause the sensor to record the data as heart beats. This is the probable explanation when my Fitbit indicated a steady heart rate of 200 bpm for hours on end. Likewise the calories burned was sky high. When not weatrng the device, you might leave it in a drawer or throw a towel on top of the device so the HR sensor doesn't record ambient light as heartbeats.

The other possibility is that if it was somewhere too dark and a knock or vibration triggered the HR sensors for a moment, the reflection of the light in the darkness might have been enough to spoof the receptors into locking onto it and registering a rogue signal.
Leaving the tracker in a nice light place is normally enough to prevent this.

I have noticed that while my watch is worrying in the counter, sometimes I says it is reading a heart rate.
