When the Fitbit blaze dies, it doesn't remember what time it is. Last night I went to sleep with the battery light flashing, I thought it would last through the night but at around 5:30 am it died and I didn't have my phone with me to sync the time back.

I know it's annoying but that's just the way it works. Fitbit say:

 

"Blaze—If you shut down your tracker or the battery drains completely, the time will be wrong until you sync."
