Question about bands

I currently own a Surge, which due to rash issues, I am returning for a refund. I love the functionality of the Fitbit, though, and I think I want to try the Blaze as I have the option of three different bands. Has anyone experienced any rashes with any of the bands? I just want a fitness tracker that won't kill my skin.

Rubber is the same. But you should be ok with the leather.

Pretty much any watch that I use can cause me to have rashes.  The metal ones work best for me.  Having said that, my Blaze has the basic plastic watch and I wear it most of the time including when I sleep.  I have been doing this for three weeks an so far no rash.

What I do is wash it every morning as part of my normal morning routine of shower, brushing teeth, etc.   I also use the shower time to charge my Blaze.  It stays charged with only the 5 or so minutes per day required to shower.  Since I clean it every day, I have kept rashes down.  I also, I don't put it on very tight, just tight enough that it sits roughly in the right spot to read my pulse.

At some point I might buy the metal watch band.  I like the product so far.  It meets my needs.

@PickledPixie There are also some 3 party bands out there as well. Search amazon for them

I switched to the Blaze from the Charge HR because a leather band was available. The original Fitbit one is lovely leather that causes no irritation; an eBay "genuine leather" cheap one however is not leather and I am still arguing with the seller about this.

I started with the grey band and the colour was horrid with a slight yellowish tint so I returned it and exchanged it for the brown one. I haven't taken the brown one off since I got it!

I will comment that the plastic band on the Blaze was less irritating than the plastic band on my previous HR Charge.

I haven't,  but problems with moisture buildup, and the resulting bacteria is an issue with any brand of watch band. It can be just as bad for latex, silicon and leather because they both absorb or trap sweat.

Metal band have their own problems.
