Surge or Blaze - click the hash hash hash tower just under the fitbit logo in the upper left for a pop out of display sizes...

Ok I don't currently have either one I have a charge 2.
My question. Can you set the timer to display in large font without have to
tap or do anything while you are running?

Closest feature to a "timer" on the Charge 2 is stopwatch:

Biggest difference between Surge & Blaze is the Surge is monochrome and has internal GPS. A Blaze has a brighter color screen; however, requires a tethered smart phone for GPS.

Here are the manual links: Charge 2    Blaze    Surge

Thanks for your response. I guess I didn't make myself clear. I have a charge 2 now and have used the stopwatch, but the display is too small for me to see it while running. I want to get one o the bigger Fitbits if the display for the timer/stopwatch is big enough to read. That's my question.
Is the timer display on the Blaze or the other big one enough to read while running.?
