Hello everybody,
I was wondering if it is possible to read the full content of a text on the fitbit Blaze. A friend sent me a long message, and I had to take out my phone to read it in its entirety.
Thanks,
Clyde

Hi there @Clyder. Welcome to the Community! 😄
Currently, whenever you receive a text message notification, you will be able to see up to 32 characters of a subject and up to 160 characters of the content and they will disappear automatically after 24 hours.
Hope you find this helpful. Let me know if you have any other question!

How can you expand the message on a Fitbit blaze if you get a Long text or is it not possible?

I'm glad to see new faces in the Community! Welcome aboard @Alboy! 🙂
Currently, text messages on the Blaze will show 32 characters for the subject and yp to 160 in the text body but other than that, you can not expand it.
Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have more questions 🙂

I double tap on message notifications but I am unable to see the message. Any suggestions?

Telling us what you see and what phone you have would make it easier to come up with a helpful response.
Why a double tap, out of interest? The Blaze has a touch screen so actually tapping the tracker shouldn't be necessary.

What kind of message notification are you seeing? Is it just an envelope with the number of messages. Do you get email messages, calendar, and caller id on the blaze?

@tinabear02 is the notifacations on the phone set to sjow in a pop up? Do you see the notifications with a full message on the phones lock screen? The Fitbit app only displays what is sent to it, what messaging app are you using and does it have a setting to show body content?

has this been resolved? I use Samsung S8 with blaze and all I see is a notification on SMS text. I use native Message application on S8. Is there any way to see the text on Blaze?

Sorry @ptl_Suhas it still works as described on page 22 of the Blaze User Manual.
Only the first 160 charectors will be displayed.
When I enabled notifications the app asked me how I wanted to receive them
A notification or text .
My thought would be to turn notifications off and set them up again.
Some messaging apps are able to configure this and would overide the settings in Fitbit.

Thanks, @Rich_Laue! Unfortunately, my tracker does not give me that option! 😞
even though the manual says that but all I see is message notification and not the actual text (most of the texts are less than 160 chr) The call notification works fine!
