Recent Resting Heartrate Issues

When this device first came out I found the resting heart rate measurement to be pretty accurate. In 2017 it gradually became less accurate. Starting with the last update the resting heart rate measurement has been WAY OFF!! In the evenings when I'm sitting on the couch or something my heart rate on the watch displays as about 67bpm. When I'm sleeping/resting it gets down into the 50s. Yet the software says my resting heart rate is 78bpm. Any word on improving the accuracy of this measurement?

Hey there @chilimac02, welcome to the Forums!

If you are seeing that your heart rate information is not being accurate, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Also, in this other post are other tips that you can also take into consideration.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

You have given that link in several posts. It is obviously not a satisfactory answer. Software updates shouldn't effect someone's fitness score or testing heart rate...
