Worked a night shift and my blaze told me I sleep all night and gave me deep sleep and all

A warm welcome to the Community @al.mumford. It's weird to hear that your tracker registered sleep while you were working. To avoid this to happen again, I recommend restarting your Blaze. Also, you can edit that sleep log by doing the following from your Fitbit app:

1. Tap the sleep tile

2. Tap the sleep log

3. Tap the pencil icon

4. Edit your sleep

5. Tap Save

6. Sync

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Oops.  Don't let your boss know!

Seriously, though, were you moving much on your night shift?  @AlejandraFitbit  suggestion to restart should help.  Curious about whether your blaze recorded many steps.  I might get anywhere from 50 - 300 steps during a sleep record.  Some probably just from moving my arm and the rest because I got up to go to the bathroom or take the dog out. My sleep record in those situations shows me as being awake.

This hasn't happened to me lately, but a week ago i was getting up to 4 false sleep records a day. Some as long as 2.5 hours and included a 30 minute car drive. This was everyday for at least 5 days and always showes a pretty good sleep, actually better tyan my normal sleep. I simply deleted the rogue records. I don't know why they mysteriously stopped or had started to appear.

I work as a nurse so I do approximately 9000 on a 10 hr shift. I don't believe resetting it will fix it as I've only had it for 3 days.
On the funny side...I wish it was right and I did sleep.
Makes me wonder how accurate it is 🤔

Hi @al.mumford! Great to see you in the Forums! 🙂

That does sound very strange. If you were moving a lot and it still recorded sleep while you were active, that doesn't sound any accurate at all. The suggestion of restarting your tracker should help and also, just in case, you could try to set up your tracker as a new device and see if this makes any difference. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Keep an eye on it for the next few days and see if it improves. Let us know if you need more help!

@FerdinandFitbit, yesterday and Friday I had a similar problem.

Friday I woke up at 11:05. It started logging sleep at 11:05 until the last sync of the day.

Yesterday I woke at 9:15, it started logging sleep at 9:16 for the rest of the day. I deleted the sleep record after syncing at 10pm. At 11:30 I synced and a sleep from 10 to 11:30 was addef.

Everytime I synced it simply extended the slope time.. I even had a 20 minute walk auto recorded during my added sleep time. Screenshot_2017-06-05-02-33-08.pngI noticed Sunday morning a sleep was added the minite I woke up, and continued until my 11:47 sync when it stopped.. Right after this sync I switched from the Surge to the Charge 2 and the sleep ended for the day. Coincidence?

Sesperate issue maybe.. This morning my sleep showed up with the first sync but it took about 2 more hours with several syncs, each extending the sleep, before any steps synced from the Surge

Thanks a lot for bringing that up @Rich_Laue. Sounds indeed quite similar but not sure if it would be the same problem. An emerging issue maybe?

You can try  the regular troubleshooting steps as restarting your tracker, setting it up as a new device, etc. and keep an eye on it and if you notice this to happen in the following nights, please let me know so that I can share that with our team for them to take a look. If you also notice other users experiencing the same, please let me know so that I can take a look.

Again, thanks a lot for the help!
