Don't know if my blaze records my steps correctly. I thought a mile was about 2000 steps yet I have done a seven mile walk today and only clocked up 12000 steps. Does this sound right?

I'm 6' 1" and when walking fast, around 14 minutes per mile, it's about 1800 steps per mile. So 7 miles would be about 12,600 steps.

Im 5'6" and it is 2110 steps per mile so 7 miles are 14700 steps.
