Recording sleep and steps while not wearing it

Took my Blaze off last night to charge. Left on bed side cabinet and it managed to record my sleep pattern! Second time I’ve done this and the same result. Also I’ll get out of bed, take a shower and I’ve done over 600 steps 😳 I’ve set the Blaze to dominant hand but it’s on my none dominant to try and slow it down but turning a steering wheel doing a u turn will register 30-40 steps.

I have experienced this same issue a couple of times with my Blaze. Have you tried to restart it? If you haven't, I recommend trying this by doing the following:

1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2. Let go of the buttons.

After this test your Blaze and keep me posted.

Really disappointed in this product! 

Fitbit icon flashing, couldn’t do anything with it. Plugged into my Mac over night then got message that I needed to change watch face, did this then come right. Took Fitbit off to charge over night and this morning again flashing Fitbit icon!
