Recording sports?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I played a rather intense game of tennis but my fitbit didnt record it automatically as a sport. It recorded it as active hours.

1. Is there a difference between active hours and sports logged?
2. How do I log my tennis games? I would like to know the calories burned and the percentage of cardio/fat burn.

3. Does it count towards my step count?

Thanks for the help in advance!

@ohricochet for active minutes see this document.

When setting a time apart as a recorded event it will let you see this period in greater detail.

Now for tennis why not use the Blaze tennis mode itself to record the time. Go into the app or the web.. In the app menu, device, blaze, exercise shortcuts, and add tennis, it will then schedule a sync.

Next time you play tennis, go to exercise on the Blaze and choose tennis.

This is explained in the Blaze manual that's found under the fitbit help.

Manual entry via the website would be the normal route if you can't find something close enough in the list of tracked activities. The website is clearly a must for swimming since the Blaze doesn't track it and isn't waterproof in any case.
