Hi\,

My fitbit blaze is almost a year old. When I bought it, blaze's battery use to last for 5 days. Then slowly it came down to 4 days and since last couple of weeks the battery lasts only 2-3 days.

Is it due to aging of battery?

@bindaas, all rechargeable batteries have a limited recharge cycke, and this limitation is MUCH lower if the battery if the batteries experience deep discharge,  Ideally you should never allow the batteries on any device powered by modern Lithium Ion batteries go below 30% (although occasional deeo discharges should not have too devastating effect).

It may be that your batteries have reached their limit, depending on how you have used your device.

Having said that, depending on your country, all Fitbits are guaranteed for at least 12 months so if your Fitbit's batteries seem to have significantly deteriorated in a year or less (or in the European Exonomic Area two years or less) please get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support for more help.

Thanks Wendy for the helpful links... I dot think the contacts is any issue as my fitbit charge well and I receive the notifications that blaze is charged fully. Still will try to clean the contacts before charging it next time.

Thanks Julia_G for having a look at my issue. This is what i was speculating, lithium batteries losing the charge retention power.

I think battery of my fitbit might have worn of more than rest as I usually let it drainto almost 0%. Now i know that i shouldn't let the battery drop below 30%, hopefully i can take better care of next fitbit or other electronic devices 😀
