Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature. What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze? I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

I set my alarms for 10 minutes to the hour...then check to see if my dot turned red..if not, then I walk 250 steps...works pretty good while we wait for the firmware update

Is there an update that allows for Reminders to Move for the Blaze?

@jtl78 @ramseyerp @hillk32 @SunsetRunner @SunsetRunner Just as my buddy @EmersonFitbit mentioned in his previous post, we are still working on making Reminders to Move available for Blaze in a future firmware update, but we still do not have an estimated delivery date at this time.
Also, the new tile that many of you mentioned is the new Hourly Activity Goals feature that was introduced earlier this week for all trackers that support auto-sleep detection. Click here for more details about how hourly activity goals work.
@dwest05 If you click the "Topic Options" button near the top right-hand corner there should be an unsubscribe button on the pulldown menu. This should stop the email notifications from this thread.

All I have seen is that it will be in a future firmware upgrade. Just have to play the waiting game now.

how can i turn on the notifications for hourly activity on the fitbit blaze? I know the fitbit alta sends notifications to get up and move if you have not reached your goal. I could not figure out how to turn on the notifications for the blaze so if anyone knows how, please respond! Thanks 🙂

You can't yet. For everybody, but those with an Alta, we only see what's on the dashboard, no other notifications. So, we basically still have to guess on if we've reached that goal. They are talking about an update (at some point) for the Blaze to have the 'Reminder to Move' feature like the Alta has though.

Its odd, the Fitbit One is a nice device and long-lasting. However all the "high-end" Fitbits suffer from being throw-away products.
I don't agree with the mindset that consumers should expect a less durable product at $200 (Blaze) and $250 (Surge) price points. For the same price, or just a little more, you can buy sport watches and activity trackers that are both durable and well rounded feature sets.

All I know is it has to come in a firmware update and the current update that is going out does not have it yet.

It would be nice if you could change what it reminds you to do. I'd like have the option to have it remind me to do 20 floors or get 15 minutes of active movement.
I get up at 4:45am, so I have mine set for 5:00am to 7:00pm and easily get 250 steps without trying during those hours. So I'd like something that could challenge me.
