Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature.  What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze?  I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

I've all but given up reading these forums @racertempo as all they seem to be are the same questions over and over again. There needs to be a "sticky" at the top level, effectively saying read before you post! 🙂

I want to go vote, but when I click the link, it claims to be broken.

Pretty sure you can opt in or out. I have several friends with the Alta, and I believe it can be turned on or off.

@ABGirlAZ tje link is broken becaise a "." period was added to the end. Remove the peeiod and it will work.

Yes this option can be turned off,  for me or is useless, i am usually sleeping when the sun is out.

I just noticed in my settings on the fitbit mobile app if you go to

My Account, then settings, then Activity, then Hourly Activity Goal, it has you customize the hours of the day that you want your 250 step goal to be included.

Underneath that, it says: The hours you set here will also impact when you receive your move reminders!?

I have the BLAZE.... soooo why does it say there are reminders? Did I miss an upgrade?

Don't know why it says that, but it's been there since they added the hourly activity goal.

Because this is how you set up the times for move remindees if you have a tracker, Alta, with tyese features, aparantly this screen is nor dismissed to the trackermodel connected to the account. For me there are four models connected.

AMEN.  It is hilarious actually to see Fitbit say "no news yet", then 2 posts later, on the next day will be a first or second post from a person saying "Any update, you have not give an update for months!!!!!"  My favorite was the person saying she could not read the thread becasue she "has a life".   So she has time to check back regularly and look for a response to her, instead of taking less time to read even the posts ont he same page. Sadly funny stuff.  Robot surprised

As for a sticky i don't think it will help.  Fitbit has a pretty good search function that will get answers to most questions, without the need to ask. There alao is a very nice interactive help site, linked to below.

is this update also being prepared for the surge? It is the most expensive fitbit device along with the blaze and is quite disappointing seeing cheaper devices having such features instead of the most costly ones.

Thanks,

R.

There have been several updates from Fitbit in this exact thread, including on 4/5 (message 67), on 4/26 (message 96), and 5/24 (message 112), and on 6/1 (message 141).  6/1 was the last update and they said hurry up and wait, which means don't expect it anytime soon.

Will it be an upgrade that you can do on the blaze I just purchased or only on new ones? I hope I can upgrade mine to have that feature, I almost bought the Alta

If they do it it will be a firmware update, so every blaze ever made would get that update......just don't expect it anytime soon.

I was a bit disappointed as well. Bought the Blaze with hopes the Move Reminder would be added. I ended up switching to the Garmin Vivoactive HR. This one is waterproof and has move reminder. Was really hoping for the Blaze when it came out but no longer want to wait (doesn't seem they are going to update it anytime soon).
