Reminder to Move

Just saw that the new Fitbit Alta has a "remind to move" feature.  What are the chances of this being added to the Blaze?  I feel like it would be an awesome addition!

You know partly I want this to enjoy the new features - ie very excited about a clockface and reminders to move. However another big part is to shut up a certian naysayer - who in some passages seemed to be saying they didnt even own a fitbit. I get frustrated when I ask a question and someone is not an authority - but a critic/hater, endlessly shares their presumptions of the company and what should be expected. Not helpful. When you are moderating I wish you would find a way to weed that out.

I want to hear from moderators, not haters.

This user was just always responding to people asking when the update was coming with "give up, never gonna happen attitude". Sadly, I was starting to believe them so I am very glad that its happening.

Congrats on the weight lost. I have lost a little over 30lbs. I believe that is 2 stone? I have been walking/running 8-10 miles a day. How? 3 dogs, early morning 3-4 miles and Pokemon Go believe it or not. LOL

Can't wait for this to happen!  I've had a fitbit zip for a few years and have just upgraded to a Blaze and I love it!  The reminder to move will make it even more amazing as i work at a desk and get engrossed so reminders will be amazing.  Can't stop checking my stats!

Yup, it was me 🙂  I have repeatedly said "stop waiting" and that it "probably won't happen", although I am not sure why you would think I don't have a Fitbit...... I have never said I don't have one.  I have had a One, Flex, ChargeHR and a Blaze which I am wearing now.  I have had a fitbit on my every day for the last 2.5 years and I am a big fan, and given many as gifts.  And the Charge HR and Blaze were purchased far ahead of the release.

I was telling people to stop waiting on an IOU from Fitbit.  I hope it does happen, but just look, 14 pages of people asking for updates and NO concrete response at all from Fitbit until 8/29, and now several of those "update links" are down for maintenance.  A few people even said they bought the blaze solely for the reminders to move and wanted to return when they found out it was not there.  Never ever buy anything on an IOU from a tech company that is focusing on the new/next product.

Not a critic, a huge fan, look back Reesey and see that literally MONTHS would go by without a single response from a Fitbit moderator.  That is absolutely why I have said "stop waiting, won't happen".  Then after a month of silence they would give the exact same lack of response, "its coming soon" followed by another month of silence from moderators.

Please tell me where I have seemed to say "I did not own a fitbit".  Someone is not a hater when they are they have 430+ thumbs up.  I am on here to help people and offer suggestions.....and sorry if my pointing out that Fitbits lack of real tangeable evidence of any update for 6 months upsets you, but it does not make me a naysayer or a hater.

I am liking it as well, and I thought I would not....but I had a little taste of it with my Polar A360 on my other wrist for the last 2 months.  I just hope the updates gets cleaned up soon as the reminder only buzzes about 75% of the time.

All-Day sync won't notify you in any way.  You have to actually open the app and see if the banner is there stating that your update is available.

Dear @racetempo,

Good afternoon & thank you for the details. I was hoping the
synchronization each 45 minutes will satisfy my need for new features on
the Blaze. I shall check the Fitbit app in the morning and work on
patience. Have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,
Herget

When will the Reminder to Move feature be added to the Blaze?

With the new update which could be released today, tomorrow, or in a week.  Fitbit released it and it had the reminders; however, they found bugs in the release and had to retract the update.  They are working on a fix now and they ahve said once they know something it will be communicated to everyone.....so for now, just hurry up and wait.
