I'm unsure if there's something wrong with my Fitbit blaze but my resting heart rate has gone from roughly 60 to 75 in the space of 1-2 weeks
im still going to the gym and still as active as I was so can't see why it's gone up so much in such a short space of time so I'm wondering if it's the Fitbit?

Have you had an injury lately or have you been training more than usual? An elevated resting HR could occur from that. More than likely though, it is the device messing up. Try a manual restart of the device and see if that helps.

Another possibility is you're wearing your tracker too loose on your wrist when you sleep.

If your working out to hard, you could be causing more damage than good. The heart will need to work harder to help in the repare process

Hello everyone! @Shev90 @Rich_Laue @The_Lion @shipo @AdamMSC
@Shev90 basically, resting heart rate goes down and gets lower when you use your tracker 24/7 and you are an active person. But going up.. Well. I would recommend you Restarting your Blaze, taking a look at these posts and contacting support.

There may also be physdical or psychological causes for RHR to rise as you describe. My RHR settled in the low to mid 50's about a month after I started wearing it. Two winters ago my RHR started moving up about 1 BPM per day until it topped out at around 62 at which time I was suffering a full blown flu. This year I had an ankle infection which swelled up and my RHR shot up to the mid 60's. About a year and a half ago we moved to another state and my RHR also rose to the low 60's and stayed there until about a month after the move.
I think just as a precaution you should be alert for any physical or stress issues that may be causing the RHR to rise.

I had a chest infection a few weeks ago so I was thinking it may be that but I thought it would start going down again by now

Why I asked if man oder woman: In my case the cycle is to blame. Really annoying because I feel the higher HR when I try to fall asleep. Difference between low und high: 10 beats and more. I will ask my gynecologist what I can do to stop that **ahem**. As I don't want any children I don't need that **ahem** with the cycle, it's a monthly horror. No need for that.
