Hi everyone. Just got my fitbit blaze today and am currently learning all about it. I took it out for a quick 10 minute jog to test it out earlier and I'm trying to bring up the map to show the route I took, but I'm unsure how to find it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

To map a run:

1) On Blaze under Exercise Mode tap Run.  It will then say it's connecting to your phone (which you need to have with you to use the connected GPS function).

2)  Once it's ready tap the green triangle on bottom right.

3)  When finished with your run tap the flag at the top right of screen.

4)  On your phone open the fitbit app

5)  On your dashboard on the app go down to where it shows the exercise recorded and tap it

6)  The next screen will show you the map (which you can tap to enlarge) and all your stats from your run.

** If you went for a jog/run and didn't start by chosing the run option, you won't be able to see a map.  The map is for when you connect with your phone's GPS.  The features under exercise that can use this are walk, run and bike.  Hope that helps!

I've learned through trial and error if I go for a fast walk using the GPS feature my distance is off.  So just a heads up if you go for a fast walk (where your stride is longer than your normal walking stride) set your exercise to the Run function.  I've found that distance to be much more accurate.

As Tracy said, you need to use your phone's GPS to map a run. It will track your heart rate during a run and the duration etc when you don't have the GPS connected, but it works much better and is more accurate when you have your phone map the run for your fitbit.
