update firmware

apparently what they dont tell you is the blaze has to charge for about an hour before it is strong enough to handle the update via blutooth. did it with my samsung s7  phone and after that it started the update, and the 10 minute message, its more like 40 minute update.

When I got my Blaze I had at least half battery on first start-up and it did it's update. Failed once, carried on and worked fine.

Hello @mmckinn welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here 🙂 My Blaze came with half battery as @JustinX1029 mentioned and it took some time to update.  Thanks for sharing this advise I'm sure it will help a lot of Blaze users during the set up process.

Is there a page to see what the latest firmware for the Blaze is?

Going to help.fitbit.com and putting latest in the search bar i see this hit.

Hello @KiloLima64, I noticed  the Firmware version of the Blaze is not showing on the help article shared by @Rich_Laue, you can view the version of your Blaze's firmware on your tracker, to do it tap on settings and scroll down to see it. The current version is 17.8.102.7.
