What messaging program are you using?
Do messages pop up on the lock screen?
On the phone settings - sounds and notifacations - notifacations on lock scree - show content. Then check the default messages app
Have you checked the songs in the messaging app?

Welcome to the Community @Turtlebrain. The reason why your tracker is not syncing with your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is because this phone is not compatible. I recommend checking our list of Compatible Mobile Devices and in the meantime, you can sync your tracker with a computer or compatible device.

Just keep in mind that since Note 5 is not a compatible device, we don't guarantee it will work 100%.
