I've had my Fitbit Blaze since January and I have very few complaints, but one problem I've had a few times occurs while running in the rain in long sleeve, my wet sleeve activates the screen and either pauses or ends my run, so frustrating!!! Is there any way anyone knows to prevent this?!

Great to see you around @Alm_2004. Regarding to your inquiry, no, there isn't an option to lock your Blaze display. I recommend taking a look at the Touch screen lock for Blaze request, vote for it and leave your comment. Also, it would be better if you can take off your tracker while running in the rain to avoid any type of damage.
Catch you later.

Why do you suggest taking off the Blaze to run in the rain? The Blaze is marketed on Fibit.com as "Fitbit Blaze is sweat, rain and splash proof, but is not swim proof." So based off of the Fitbit website you say it is ok to wear in the rain. Which is true?

I have exactly the same problem!
living in the UK means running in the rain, and it's so frustrating that the Blaze keeps pausing and ending workouts prematurely, really it's not good enough!
Fitbit need to sort this issue quickly, you wear a fitness tracker like the Blaze so you can track progress without having to get your phone out of a pocket and delay a run, English weather in the autumn and winter means bad weather, long sleeve running tops, wet sleeves and running jackets.
seriously considering buying a garmin tracker when I upgrade or even the new apple 3 watch, it works and is only £30 more than the Fitbit Ionic when it launches, definitely not spending £300 on another Fitbit if they can't sort an issue like this out...

I've been caught in the rain several times while bike riding. The blaze was face up taking a direct hit while holding the handlebar. The blaze made it through just fine. Not sure I'd want to chance it too many times though. There was one time I had a garbled screen for a bit but it cleared up. Don't even remember what I was doing prior to that happening.

6 month later and still no solution, I was hoping by now Fitbit would've come up with something, even a plastic cover that could be worn over the Blaze or anything really

The Blaze tracker is fine, it's not damaged, just keeps stopping halfway through runs and training etc, renders the 'fitness tracker' useless! There should be an option to lock the screen as a minimum from accidentally stopping or pausing, or work at the screen sensitivity during exercise to prevent this happening
