Your fitbit needs BT 4.1, WiFi is between your phone and the internet and should have no affect. 

I f not look did you cue k www.fitbit.com/devices

I would think it would dynce, but don't know if notifacations or the gps will work

The Samsung Galaxy Express Prime is not on the list, but the Galaxy Express & the Galaxy Express II are.
I was hoping someone had user experience to share...

I have the Samsung Galaxy Express Prime and the Charge HR. It will say it cannot locate my device but will eventually bring up the currency stats after I sync it on my iPhone. If I try and sync with my Samsung first,  it won't display the current info. I don't know why fitbit can't update to notice the Express Prime as well?
