Blaze went dark and overheats when trying to recharge. Doesn't charge. Was holding charge less and less and would freeze until finally went dark and would overheat when trying to charge. Please let me know what to do.

Mine started with not tracking sleep, then battery would last 7 hours, now today it went into continuous vibrate mode and dies after 2 hours, now it is totally dead. Fitbit say it is a month out of warranty so they are willing to give me a 25% discount on a downgrade to a Charge HR. Guess I am going to swap to Garmin instead

A warm welcome to the Community @Buntaro1, @AlacrityF174 it's great to see you around and @WendyB thanks for stopping by.
@AlacrityF174 I am sorry to hear about your experience with Fitbit Blaze. If I am not wrong, you can use that discount to purchase any other Fitbit device (except the new units). In this page, you can compare all the trackers, maybe there's one that meet your needs.
And @Buntaro1, if your tracker is getting hot, I recommend not wearing it. I've gone ahead and escalated your case to our Support Team, for them to take a deeper look at this, please keep an eye on your inbox for further instructions.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Hi Alejandra
The message I received from Support specifically listed the devices I could use this discount on and it definitely did not cover anything that would be considered an Upgrade from Blaze but more things such as Charge 2
