Separation of Food and Water registration

I think the separation between food and water (liquid?) registration in Blaze (and probably in other Fitbit products also) is wrong. The problem is when someone consumes wine or beer or milk or any other liquid.

In general, all these 'drinks' contain high percent water, but with some extra stuff, providing calories fat and others. Therefore with the current operation schema, I have to register twice: once as 'food' (like 2 cups of milk) and once as water (2 cups of milk should be a little bit less than 2 cups of wate, but for simplicity it can be logged also as 2 cups).

The correct way would be single 'food/liquid registration. Fitbit can calculate for any liquid the amount of calories and water, setting the two current (food and water) 'bucket's accordingly. Or in other words: i can satisfy a 2 liter daily water need by drinking 1 liter water, half a liter milk and half a liter wine/beer

Set your water target to be the amount of actual water you drink.

It's also important to count the water that is consumed through vegitables, salad, soups, meats, juices, fruits, etc. Depending on your diet this co e close to the required daily water.
Now as for as eighth glasses, this afk to a wives take. 1950's, you really need. I be monitoring the color of the urine.. I'd it is always. Leave you might be over hydrated, and this is more dangerous than under hydrated.

Yes, we can consume water in any form, also as part of fruits, soup or others.

Doesn't beer/wine alcohol actually dehydrate you ? The big part of the hangover headache is cause of dehydration that drinking causes you. I can't agree that those beverages should count towards your daily water intake.
