Setting up my Blaze

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have just bought a Blaze and can't get past the first step, it says that my tracker has not responded to requests. Make sure the tracker is on the base station then press and release the Fitbit tracker button and click next. The problem is; I can't find any fitbit tracker button! I have tried and tried!

Hi, @Durvillewoman! Is your tracker plugged in or in the frame? To set it up, it should be in the frame. Make sure the frame buttons (the left button is the one you're looking for) align with the small black buttons on the side of the physical tracker. This should solve your issue. Good luck and let us know!

I have it in the frame and plugged in to my computer. There are no buttons on the outside of the frame, I have tried pushing the button on the left side before shutting the frame but nothing happens, I am getting very frustrated! 😞

@Durvillewoman, the frame is what you wear it in, another word could be wristband, not the charging dock, which is what it sounds like you have it in.

I have it in the charging dock, it is a little black square thing with a cord that plugs into my computer usb port. The problem is once I remove the fitbit thingy from the watch wristband and put it into the charging dock I then have to click the the charging dock over top of it and there are no buttons at all on it.

You do not need to have your tracker in the charging dock during setup. Take it out of the charging dock and put it in the watchband frame.

How long have you charged it for? Even before your tracker is set up, it should respond to the buttons. I would suggest putting it in the charging dock for a while and just letting it charge. If an hour or so doesn't do it, you might have to contact Fitbit Support and let them know your tracker is non-responsive (doa).

It does come up with the fitbit logo and the words fitbit.com/setup.

Thank you for you help Makmak, I have to give up after hours of trying. I will take it back to where I bought it and see if they can help. I have tried ringing the various phone numbers for support but they are not in NZ, where I am and I can't even get through.

@Durvillewoman  The screen will only show fitbit.com/setup on the screen until you set up the tracker.  What device are you using to set this up?  (Cell phone, PC, tablet, etc.)

A warm welcome to the Community @Durvillewoman@MakMak@Kmransom123 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by and the instructions provided. I would like to know if you were able to setup your Blaze? If you keep having problems, I recommend restarting your Blaze and after the restart process, follow the setup procedure from a computer. If you have already tried these steps without success, feel free to get in touch with our support team, for a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
