If you're a runner, you can take advantage of the Blaze's connected GPS feature. It works very well. I'm not a woman, but the watch is not bulky. I think it would look fine!

@CharlieM77 I have a Blaze and really like it. (Came from using a Charge). The Blaze also will track floors climbed and monitor your heart rate. I have small wrists, and I don't feel/think it is too large on my arm.

I dont think its bulky. You could go to a store that sells them and gauge it for your self.

If you're a runner, you can get the Surge with a built in GPS so you don't have to lug your phone around with you.
It still works with your phone for texts and controlling music if you do want that.

@CharlieM77 Both are pretty great. If music controls are important to you, the Blaze would be a great choice. As far as "brilliant" features, I'm not so sure, but it does have some neat functionality. For workouts, you can select a workout mode and monitor your stats right on the device (pace and distance for runs/walks, heartrate, etc.). Connected GPS is nice for running/walking. Blaze comes loaded with 3 FitStar workouts. I like to use those when I have been sitting at my desk too long and just need a quick way to get my heart pumping. Blaze has a timer (stopwatch and countdown modes) on screen, which I have used way more than I ever thought I would.
It is a bit bulkier than the Alta, but it is very comfortable on the wrist - definitely the most comfortable Fitbit that I have ever owned. I like that you can switch out the bands to dress it up if needed. I thought this picture might give you a better idea of the size. It goes without saying - I am not hand/wrist model, so please forgive the awkward pose 🙂
