Bought Blaze.. Today is first day.. Liking it so far. Have a question. It is showing 2 floors climbed while I did not climb any. Why is it so? How does floor count work?

Thanks,

From the fitbit help site, scroll down you'll see the link that says help. Here is the article on the floor counting.

It basically is a barometer, and measures the change in air pressure as you gain altitude, it amazes me that it works as well as it does, it's looking for a change of the weight of a little more than a square inch of paper.

To answer your question any change in air pressure such as walking past a vent, fan, approaching storm, one window open in a car, etc may give floors.

Thanks for the response. It still bothers me that incorrect data is being registering. It showed 4 for yesterday and so far 1 today but I haven't climbed any stairs so far. Error rate is really high. Looks like there is no edit option as well.
