My blaze isn't tracking sleep automatically at all and heart rate monitoring seems patchy. I have the most up to date app and firmware for watch. I have tried to reboot a number of times as well to no avail.

Help @SunsetRunner are you saying sleep isn't tracking at all? Or is it not all ways displaying sleep stages, which needs a consistent heart rate?
If your tracker is too tight on the arm you'll have more heart rate problems than if it is to loose. Since you have a blaze, try turning the heart rate off then to on.. Have the lights in the back been working?

Lights have been working but I tried the turn off and on trick with the HR monitor. I managed to get Sleep but not stages tracked.

I've been having similar problems since the last firmware.
Everything has been fine for months before.

I’m having the same issue. Patchy heart rate tracking and no sleep stages. I have not changed how I’ve worn it (same hole on the band as before when it was working). Lights flicker on the back. Not sure what the solution is.

I've placed two calls with the helpline and they are struggling to find a fix. Apparently this is an unusual type of error that the expert hadn't seen before. Unusual in that it isn't fully broken as they normally see. Awaiting a call/email from Fitbit which will take 48hours.
