Benchmark percentages in sleep stages do not show on graph if outside the benchmark.  Also, would be more convenient to access the Fitbit app in the horizontal landscape mode on the ipad.

It's great to have you here @Pianist! Currently, it's possible to see the sleep graph in the horizontal landscape on the iPad. Just tap on the arrow to expand it and later it should work on the horizontal view.

Could you provide me with more details of what you mean in the benchmark percentages? If you have a screenshot that can show me more information that would be awesome too.

Thank you so much for the reply concerning the horizontal position. Clicking on those arrows was the solution, and with my keyboard cover, the horizontal position is locked in and much more stable than having to turn it around to the vertical position.

Will get back to you concerning the sleep stage percentages which is not a very big issue.

I have noticed, on occasion, that the sleeping schedule started an hour before actually getting into bed. Is that very unusual. And does the tracker determine you are actually sleeping just by lack of movement?

Thanks again,

Thanks @Pianist! I'm glad to hear that now you're able to see your information in the horizontal position. 🙂

Regarding your sleep stages, Fitbit estimates your sleep stages using a combination of your movement and heart-rate patterns. When you haven’t moved for about an hour, your tracker or watch assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data—such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior (such as rolling over, etc.)—help confirm that you’re asleep. While you’re sleeping, your device tracks the beat-to-beat changes in your heart rate, known as heart rate variability (HRV), which fluctuate as you transition between light sleep, deep sleep, and REM sleep stages. When you sync your device in the morning, we use your movement and heart rate patterns to estimate your sleep cycles from the previous night.

Hope this helps!

Actually, I was trying to get the Fitbit Dashboard to permanently set up in the horizontal position as my ipad fits into my keyboard cover in that position and it is awkward to have to turn it around first in order to rotate the Fitbit information.
