Sleep stages on blaze not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've not used my sleep function for a while and love the new sleep stages. But my Blaze has only logged 2 nights and the reverted back to the old log. Using 17.8.401.3 and app 2.53 Any tips?

Fitbit say there are a number of reasons this may happen:

"There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your tracker from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your tracker higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your tracker to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your tracker’s battery is critically low."

Is your HR monitor set to Auto?  If yes try restarting and change the setting to ON, either on the watch or your fitbit app and then sync.  Also check your bluetooth to make sure the blaze is connected.   I have noticed it was not connected on mine at some point and it helped the issue.

While keeping the HR set to ON all the time it might cause the battery to drain a lot faster then normal.

I now have sleep stages for the past week.
