Hi,

I just got a blaze, before this I had a Microsoft Band 2 which was really accurate.

Now I got the blaze and my sleeping is way off track.

For example, I got two sleeping session last night... With differtent measurements....

Then the day before the fitbit says I woke up at 9:20....

While I was biking at 7:38:

And also, the walk 23 minutes burn 210 cal.

While my cycling 215.... Trust me the cycling on my MTB is much intenser than the walk during lunch... Whahaha...

Why is this so bad ?

Are all fitbits like this...???

Hope anyone can help me out if there are settings I need to change!?

I still got a week for testing so I really think of returning the blaze at this moment....

Regards,

It's great to see you here @SunsetRunner. Thanks for the attachments provided. If your Blaze is being inaccurate, I recommend restarting the tracker and check the tips provided by @bcalvanese in the Things You Can Do To Make The Blaze More Accurate. Now, if your tracker is not being accurate at all, feel free to get in touch with our support team, since they have the proper tools to see the information that your tracker is registering. For a faster response you can contact them via phone or chat.

I am in the same situation.  Trying to find a replacement for MS Band 2. I tried Polar, Garmin, Fitbit Surge - nothing comes close.  MS surely made a huge mistake by discontinuing a great device.

That said, now I am using Fitbit Blaze (a couple of weeks) and although it's not as good as MS Band 2 with sleep tracking and HR, it's nowhere near as to what you are describing.  I suspect that you might have a faulty device.

So far, I found that wearing the device higher on the arm (3 fingers from the wrist bone) and playing with the band tension (not too tight but not too loose) helps with accuracy a bit.  But yeah, it's funny sometimes.  The other day, I started rowing, and after 5-10 minutes I saw HR at 80 (in reality it would be around 120), but as I kept rowing the HR kept going down to 70 or 60 🙂  I stopped and actually turned the device to be on the inside and that seemed to improve the situation.
